Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the website or availing any services offered by Global Public School, Surajpur ("the School", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing this website or enrolling your child, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Global Public School is a CBSE-affiliated institution (Affiliation No. 3330566, School Code: 16475) located at Mishra Gali, Surajpur, Chhattisgarh. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at www.gpssurajpur.in and all related services including online fee payment, admission enquiries, and access to school resources.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable CBSE guidelines. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Surajpur, Chhattisgarh.

2 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, submitting an admission form, or making any payment through our platform, you confirm that:

3 Admission Policy

Admission to the School is subject to availability of seats, fulfillment of eligibility criteria, submission of required documents, and approval by the School administration. Submission of an admission form or payment of any registration/processing fee does not guarantee admission.

  • The School reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning reasons.
  • Admission once granted is provisional and subject to verification of all submitted documents.
  • Any misrepresentation of information may result in cancellation of admission at any stage.
  • Age criteria as prescribed by CBSE and the state government shall be strictly followed.
  • Required documents include: Transfer Certificate, Birth Certificate, Mark Sheet of previous class, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar Card, and passport-size photographs.

4 Fee Structure & Payment Policy

All fees are as prescribed by the School for the respective academic session. Fee details are communicated at the time of admission and/or at the start of each academic year.

  • Payment Due Dates: Fees are payable as per the schedule notified by the School (monthly/quarterly/annual). Late payment may attract a late fee as communicated by the administration.
  • Accepted Payment Modes: Cash at the school counter, bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), UPI, and online payment gateway (where available on this website).
  • Receipts: An official receipt will be issued for every payment made. Parents/guardians are advised to preserve receipts throughout the academic year.
  • Fee Revision: The School reserves the right to revise the fee structure with reasonable prior notice to parents/guardians. Revised fees are applicable from the date specified in the notification.
  • Outstanding Dues: The School reserves the right to withhold examination admit cards, result cards, or Transfer Certificates in case of pending dues.
  • Concessions: Fee concessions, scholarships, or sibling discounts (if any) are at the sole discretion of the School management and are subject to specific eligibility criteria.

5 Online Payment Terms

Where online fee payment is facilitated through this website, the following terms apply:

  • Security: Online transactions are processed through a secured payment gateway. The School does not store your card details or banking credentials. Ensure you are on the official website before making any payment.
  • Transaction Charges: Any convenience fee or transaction charge levied by the payment gateway is the responsibility of the payer and will be disclosed before the final payment step.
  • Failed Transactions: In the event of a payment failure, please do not attempt payment again immediately. Check your bank statement first. If the amount is debited but the payment is not confirmed, contact the School office within 48 hours with your transaction reference number.
  • Duplicate Payments: If a duplicate payment is made by mistake, please notify the School office immediately. Verified duplicate payments will be adjusted against future dues or refunded as per the refund policy below.
  • Payment Confirmation: A payment confirmation will be sent to the registered email/phone number. Please retain this for your records.

6 Refund & Cancellation Policy

All fees once paid are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be considered under the following specific circumstances:

  • Withdrawal Before Session Commencement: If a student withdraws before the academic session begins and has submitted the required written application, the School may refund fees after deducting admission/registration charges and applicable processing fees, at the discretion of management.
  • Mid-Session Withdrawal: No refund of tuition, annual, or other fees will be made for mid-session withdrawals unless the withdrawal is due to exceptional circumstances at the School's discretion.
  • Double/Erroneous Payments: Confirmed duplicate or erroneous online payments will be refunded within 7–14 working days to the original payment source after verification.
  • Non-Admission: If the School is unable to confirm admission after collecting a registration fee, the full registration amount will be refunded.
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email: info@gpssurajpur.in or at the school counter) along with proof of payment.

7 Student & Parent Code of Conduct

Students and parents/guardians are expected to adhere to the School's Code of Conduct as detailed in the School Diary/Handbook. Key obligations include:

  • Maintaining discipline, respect, and decorum on school premises and online platforms.
  • Regular and punctual attendance as per CBSE norms (minimum 75% attendance required).
  • Adherence to the uniform policy, examination rules, and academic policies.
  • Refraining from ragging, bullying, or any form of harassment as prohibited by law.
  • Not sharing, distributing, or publishing any school content, examination papers, or student/staff information without written permission.
  • Reporting any grievance to the School administration through the designated channels rather than through social media or public forums.

The School reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, for violation of the Code of Conduct.

8 Website Usage

This website is provided for informational and transactional purposes related to the School. Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems.
